Will SchaeferFounder/ CEO

Will, founder of Ascension Medical Consulting (AMC), brings more than 20 years of medical industry expertise to his mission of empowering physicians to bring laboratory testing in-house. Will started AMC because he felt there was a need to help physicians navigate the confusing laboratory landscape. He noticed that national reference labs were incapable and unwilling to help clinics bring laboratory diagnostics in-house for fear of lost revenues. Will launched AMC to fill this critical gap. His goal: help physicians retain revenue, enhance diagnostic accuracy, and ultimately improve patient outcomes. In his spare time Will loves traveling with his wife, camping with his family and dog Danni, rafting, fly fishing, and exploring remote wilderness.

Jaime Anderson, M.S.Lead Scientist

Jaime Anderson is an accomplished forensic and clinical toxicology expert with over two decades of experience in laboratory management, method development, and accreditation compliance. She provides specialized technical and regulatory support to laboratories nationwide, with a focus on LC/MS/MS method development, assay validation, and standard operating procedure (SOP) implementation. Throughout her career, Jaime has held leadership positions at organizations including Premier Lab Solutions, LabXpress, and TASC, Inc., where she oversaw multidisciplinary laboratory operations spanning toxicology, molecular, and clinical testing. Her expertise encompasses accreditation under CLIA, CAP, and COLA standards, as well as the development of quality assurance systems that improve analytical accuracy, operational efficiency, and regulatory
compliance. Jaime is a full member of the Society of Forensic Toxicologists and the Association for Diagnostics and Laboratory Medicine. She has also served as an inspector for the College of American Pathologists’ Forensic Urine Drug Testing (FUDT) program. With a strong foundation in both laboratory science and education, she has served as adjunct faculty at Grand Canyon University, instructing students in chemistry and laboratory science. Driven by precision, integrity, and innovation, Jaime continues to advance laboratory excellence and promote scientific rigor across the fields of forensic and clinical toxicology.
